The Cruiserweight Division is going to be something that makes Raw exciting every single week because the success of WWE’s “Cruiserweight Classic” has proven that there is still a market for the division.

Raw has three hours to fill every week, so a division like this will make things a lot easier for the powers that be going forward, and provide one of WWE’s biggest platforms for several new wrestlers coming into the company.

It was revealed during Monday Night Raw last night that the division will begin on September 19th. It was also revealed during NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II that the winner of the CWC will be winning a trophy.

It’s going to be difficult to have a Cruiserweight Division without a title for everyone to chase, but that just may come in time. First, WWE officials need to be concerned with putting together a roster for the division.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Brian Kendrick, TJ Perkins, Noam Dar, Rich Swann, and Cedric Alexander are confirmed for the division. More names are also expected to be announced before September.

It’s also very likely that there will be other talents coming in and out of the division for the foreseeable future, and there will be a continuous influx of new talent, which will make the division very interesting every week.

Who else do you want to see in the Cruiserweight Division?
