Could We See John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Soon?

At NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe in the main event to become the new NXT Champion in front of the Brooklyn crowd.

The brand is now in the hands of the “King of Strong Style,” which means NXT is in a new era with several fresh possibilities. In the long term, the WWE Universe is wondering what’s next for Nakamura in WWE.

There are still several great matchups in NXT for him, but fans can’t help but wonder about some of the matches we’ll be seeing once Nakamura is on the main roster.

Recently, Shinsuke Nakamura spoke with Sports Illustrated to discuss his time in WWE thus far, and he took the time to reveal some of his goals in WWE, which included one dream match a lot of people are dying to see.

Cena vs. Nakamura was already rumored a few months ago for a WWE live event in Hawaii, but that is a match we’re most likely going to see someday.
