A couple of weeks ago, The Rock
shocked the wrestling world, when he made a phone call to CM Punk after “Monday Night Raw” went off of the air. This occurred when “The Great One” came out, following the show, and was directing some scenes that were being filmed for an
upcoming movie about WWE superstar Paige.
Former WWE superstar Sean “X-Pac” Waltman talked about this incident on the latest episode of his show, “X-Pac 1-2-360.” He said that he was backstage at “Raw” that week, and there was some uneasiness about the entire situation.
“Obviously there was controversy over The Rock calling CM Punk. I was up in the gorilla position when all that was going down… I’m not going to say who was on the headset saying, cut his mic, cut his mic. Doesn’t he realize we’re in a lawsuit with this guy? But nobody was really, like mad mad. But it was just like, come on. It was one of those things.”
