Goldberg is in the throes of returning to main event status, with his headliner match at Fastlane with Kevin Owens fast approaching. With Goldberg already having two decades of in-ring experience, you would believe that the veteran superstar would be well-prepared for the match.

However, if you ask his opponent, Kevin Owens, he believes that Goldberg is not at all prepared. Citing his limited moveset and skills, he believes he is not ready for the level of athleticism that Owens brings to the table.

When speaking with ESPN, Owens was quoted as saying, “You’ve already seen everything Goldberg can do. You’ve seen a spear, you’ve seen a jackhammer. That’s pretty much where it ends, but I’ve been here for about two years, and yet, I’ve only scratched the surface of what I can do and the people who have followed me, throughout my entire career, before I got to WWE will tell you that’s a fact. So, I don’t think Goldberg is ready for the kind of main event that I’m going to bring to him at Fastlane, absolutely not.”

While Goldberg has always been perceived as a one-trick pony, his intensity and no sells have oft been reveled in by his fans, often packing seats when he returns to the ring. We will soon see how he stacks up with Kevin Owens.
