Let the rumors and speculations truly begin.

As of midnight on Wednesday, March 1, “Broken” Matt and Jeff Hardy are no longer under contract to TNA, and are, therefore, free agents. According to PWInsider, they are currently scheduled to appear for ROH against the Young Bucks in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, April 1, and will also be part of a pre-Wrestlemania tailgate party being promoted by WWNLive on Sunday, April 2.

The current plan is for the Hardys to return the TNA Tag Team championships to the company, without making an appearance to officially drop the belts. In addition, TNA rejected the Hardys’ offer to return to drop the titles on television.

“Broken” Matt Hardy posted the following on Twitter, confirming their releases:

The Conclusion of The Expedition of Gold for Mid-Atlantic Titles | IMPACT Feb. 23rd, 2017

This is the culmination of a series of reports indicating that the Hardys would not be returning to TNA.

Editor’s Note:

Let the EXPEDITION OF GOLD continue all the way to the realms of the dastardly MEEKMAHAN SHOW!!!
