They’ve already done one pay per view so why not a second? Last year, Sasha Banks and Charlotte had one of the best rivalries of the year and elevated women’s wrestling to a level that it had never seen before. The two of them actually main evented a WWE pay per view and had some of the best matches in all of 2017. However, that’s not good enough for Banks as she has bigger ideas.

Banks spoke appeared on the “Gorilla Position” podcast and spoke about her ultimate goals in wrestling. In addition to wanting to wrestle in Japan, she also wants to main event the biggest show of the year. Here are her comments with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com:

“I am making it happen for myself and doing everything I have ever set my mind on – but I want more. Wrestling in Japan is one thing but main-eventing WrestleMania is the dream goal.”

Opinion: I know the popular opinion would be to say there’s no way this could ever happen but wasn’t that what people said about main eventing a pay per view? It’s a long, long way away from the women main eventing Wrestlemania but stranger things have happened in the past. Japan isn’t hard to imagine as WWE goes there somewhat frequently so I could actually see both of these happening.

Do you think women will ever main event Wrestlemania? Does Banks turn on Bayley at “Fastlane 2017”? Let us know in the comments below.
