We now officially know what has already been suspected for quite some time: Matt and Jeff Hardy are not only on their way out of TNA, but they are no longer with the company. As such, speculation has started on where they will land next within the industry.
While a lot of people would hope they would make their return to the WWE, it looks as though the brothers may have other plans, if their Twitter is any indication.
In a tweet directed toward Kenny Omega, it looks like the Hardys have their sights set on New Japan Pro Wrestling. In the tweet, Matt Hardy mentions that the duo “have their eyes on The ELITE…in Japan.”
Did someone say MAGIC?
Myself & the NEFARIOUS #BrotherNero have eyes on The ELITE & The New Wrestling in Japan.
We'll see you all soon. https://t.co/JzqD4DhtA5

Despite their long careers in wrestling–dating back to 1992–neither of the two brothers have found their way to Japan for a stint. They have conquered nearly every market found in North America, including Ring of Honor, TNA, and WWE.
This sort of move is huge for the duo, as Kenny Omega has broken down many barriers to western talent entering the predominantly Japanese promotion with his increased success in New Japan. Given the lack of challenges they face in America at this point, a move to the land of the rising sun makes a lot sense for them at this point.
