According to reports by PWInsider and Wrestlezone.com, CM Punk has been working through injuries for the past several weeks.
The attack from Ryback at WWE Night of Champions was meant to buy Punk a couple of weeks to heal up.
His knee and ankle are said to be his two most problematic injuries at the moment.
There are also several discussions being had backstage over what will happen once his contract expires with the company next summer.
There is no way of knowing what exactly he’ll do at that time, but it’s certainly something that’s being given some attention.
