Rob Van Dam is scheduled to take time off from WWE in October, according to reports.

Van Dam, who returned to WWE at July’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view reportedly has ninety day blocks written into his contract, where by he will work ninety day stints for the company, take some time off to rest before returning for another ninety day block of action.

He has recently been involved in a feud with Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship, taking on the Mexican at Night Of Champions. Del Rio’s former ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez has switched allegiances and now appears in the corner of Van Dam.

RVD is expected to be written out of television storylines somewhere between the Battleground and Hell In A Cell pay-per-views.
