Actor Stephen Amell, famous for his role as Oliver Queen on “Arrow,” will be stepping inside the squared circle to compete in a match at WWE “SummerSlam” on Aug. 23.
Amell entered the ring on Aug. 10 after Stardust shoved him as he stood ringside, spearing the bizarre one to the mat before security intervened. In a backstage segment following a match between Neville and King Barrett, Amell and “The Man That Gravity Forgot” confronted WWE COO Triple H, asking for a match to take place at “SummerSlam.”

Amell and Stardust have engaged in a Twitter feud for the past feud months, with HollywoodLife.com originally reporting how the Canadian actor had agreed to train and inevitably fight at the pay-per-view.
With the passing of his father “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, the storyline with Amell was up in the air as Stardust (Cody Rhodes) grieved for his loss. That’s no longer in question, as the “Green Arrow” and “Red Arrow” will team at “The Biggest Event of the Summer.”

Don’t judge. This is going to be fantastic. It’s the Green Arrow, for crying out loud. Now where’s Batman….
