“The Viper” Randy Orton is making his return to the ring for World Wrestling Entertainment, although he may be kept off of television until the “Royal Rumble” pay-per-view.

He’s currently working with a deviated septum, which is an injury to the nose.

He will require minor surgery to fix the issue, although the recovery time is only a couple of weeks.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion made an appearance after “Monday Night Raw” went off the air on Dec. 29, laying out Seth Rollins and Big Show.

Orton competed at a WWE Live Event on Dec. 26, defeating Kane in a short match at Madison Square Garden.

Editor’s Note

No big deal. Fans will be pining for his return regardless. It wouldn’t necessarily be a surprise if he’s kept away until the pay-per-view, but that certainly won’t change any reaction he would get.
