The on-screen relationship between WWE superstar Dolph Ziggler and Lana may in fact be playing out behind the scenes, as well.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet from WSVN-TV which was posted to YouTube Tuesday, the former World Heavyweight Champion teased that his romantic on-air fling with the former manager of Rusev is very much real.

He noted that just like some of his past WWE “romantic engagements,” the chemistry you see on weekly television has translated to real-life, which fans can clearly see on social media and between the ropes.

This would kill the notion that Rusev and Lana were still together, with reports emerging months ago that the two were planning on purchasing a home together in Nashville, TN.

Ziggler chimed in on that rumor recently on Twitter:

During the Aug. 31 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” a storyline played out which may lead to the on-screen split of Ziggler and Lana, although the recent “Smackdown” tapings prove otherwise.

The happy couple are rumored to be taking on Rusev and Summer Rae in a mixed tag team match at the “Night of Champions” pay-per-view.

Editor’s Note

Is there any lady on the roster Ziggler hasn’t been linked to? He’s a king.
