Now that TNA is under new management, it seems like they are making an attempt to bring back some names from the past to try and breathe a little life into the company. Former six-time TNA Knockouts champion Angelina Love is expected to make a return. Now, it would seem another big name from the company’s past, Jeff Jarrett, is about to return as well.
According to PWInsider, Jarrett has reached a deal to return to TNA. This is particularly notable, given Jarrett’s large role in the shaping of the company. Jarrett, along with his father Jerry, were founders of TNA, and perhaps unsurprisingly he was also one of the most prominent wrestlers in the company.
He is, after all, a six-time World Heavyweight champion, and a TNA Hall of Famer. Most recently, he’s been trying to get another company, Global Force Wrestling, off the ground, and this deal won’t necessarily bring an end to that.

Jarrett is almost 50, so he’s not necessarily in his prime, but he’s certainly a big name, especially in TNA circles. It can’t necessarily be considered a bad thing for Jarrett to return to the company, in terms of giving it a boost. As long as they don’t think it’ll suddenly make TNA competitive with, say, the WWE.
