So much for that. As you might have heard, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka was facing some very serious legal issues dating back to a 1983 incident where he allegedly murdered his girlfriend Nancy Argento. Due to some inconsistencies in Snuka’s statements over the story of what happened, Snuka was set to face murder charges in a Pennsylvania court. However, things took a major turn today.

According to WFMZ.com, the charges were dismissed due to a judge deciding that Snuka was suffering from dementia, leaving him unable to even recognize his own wife. Back in August, the prosecution and defense requested that the charges be dropped if Snuka was determined to be beyond improvement. Judge Kelly Banach has agreed that Snuka’s health is beyond improving and ordered the charges dismissed.

There’s no good way to put any of this. If Snuka is as sick as his legal team claims that he is then there’s a good chance he won’t be around much longer. If Snuka isn’t as sick as claimed, it’s a shame that Argento’s family won’t get a fair trial in a court of law. I don’t know what happened back in 1983 but if something did happen, the family deserves better than this.
