At 66, Hulk Hogan wants one more chance to step into a WWE ring. Hogan has been riddled with injuries throughout the later part of his pro wrestling career, which severely limited his in-ring work. In fact, it has been eight years since Hogan has competed in a wrestling match, with his last one while he was a part of the Impact Wrestling brand.
Hogan, expressing his seriousness for a WrestleMania match once again, went to Twitter to post a picture of him training. It also showed a full white beard in exchange for his signature handlebar mustache.
They said 4 months light weight then 6 months I could train slowly again after back surgery number 10, buuuttt at 7 weeks 4days my MANIACS can see I’m on the grind with my pizump on brother! I mean PLIZEASE Wrestlemania is right around the corner Brother! HollyWoodHH4Life pic.twitter.com/nd1ccTy7kS

As shown above, Hogan tweeted, “They said 4 months light weight then 6 months I could train slowly again after back surgery number 10, buuuttt at 7 weeks 4days my MANIACS can see I’m on the grind with my pizump on brother! I mean PLIZEASE Wrestlemania is right around the corner Brother!”
Twitter users were quick to respond to Hogan’s white beard, bringing up comparisons to “Macho Man” Randy Savage’s older days, as well as Michael McDonald and Santa Clause. In addition, fans were not universally supportive of Hogan making a WWE in-ring comeback, although he did receive a very large amount of support.

Hogan revealed his desire to return to WrestleMania during an interview in Saudi Arabia prior to Crown Jewel. He stated, “I’ve been talking with Vince McMahon. History is very important to me. I’ve had a very long career, and part of my career was with a very, very small company, and very gracious lady named Dixie Carter at TNA. I had [my last match] there. That’s hard for me to live with.”
Hogan’s last WWE match was at the 2006 SummerSlam pay-per-view, defeating Randy Orton. This was his first match in a year, as he defeated Shawn Michaels at the previous SummerSlam. His last WrestleMania match was in 2003, defeating Vince McMahon.
While Hogan will most likely go back to the traditional look if he does get the go-ahead to compete at WrestleMania, it is interesting that Hogan is posting pictures on social media without his legendary look.
