In the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the newsletter revealed which WWE Superstars are moving the most merchandise at live events and on WWE.com. In order, WWE Superstars whose merchandise sells the most goes as follows: John Cena, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Batista, Sheamus, Hulk Hogan, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar. Punk’s merchandise sales usually come in at number-two behind Cena, but he is down a spot due to walking out on WWE, according to the newsletter.
On the other hand, merchandise sales for the WWE Shop on WWE.com are similar but not entirely the same. While Cena still leads the way, Punk is second and is followed by: Daniel Bryan, Hulk Hogan, The Shield, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and Randy Orton.
Batista and Sheamus are the only two who dropped out of the top-eight in terms of moving merchandise on WWE.com among active WWE Superstars, as Steve Austin is not a regular on WWE programming. Instead, The Undertaker and The Shield cracked the top-eight, as their merchandise is moving much better online.
Surprisingly both Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara have had their sales drop. Since Hunico replaced the original Sin Cara, the character’s merchandise sales has notably dropped. Additionally, Rey Mysterio, who also shares the same target demographic as Cara, has seen his merchandise not move as much as it has in the past.
