As we previously reported on April 12, WWE will honor the late great Ultimate Warrior on the WWE Network on Wednesday, April 16. This tribute to Warrior will be titled “Warrior: The Ultimate Legend,” as noted in the previous report. Additionally, Warrior will be honored on the April 14 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” in some capacity.

PWInsider has recently provided an update regarding the aforementioned “Warrior: The Ultimate Legend” tribute on the WWE Network. The website is reporting that the show will actually be a four-part miniseries on the WWE Network.

With WWE rolling out a lengthy tribute to Warrior, it may very well include footage its film crews captured of Warrior in New Orleans during WrestleMania XXX week. As we previously noted, WWE’s film crews followed Warrior around in New Orleans, similarly to how it followed around Daniel Bryan. The company was planning on releasing a documentary, but due to Warrior’s untimely passing, it may instead be used in this miniseries.

Editor’s Note

I love that WWE is going to have not one, but a four-part miniseries honoring The Ultimate Warrior. This likely means it will be more insightful for a younger view like myself, who wasn’t around during Warrior’s heyday.
