*Spoilers* May 9 "WWE Smackdown"

On Tuesday, May 6, WWE taped the May 9 edition of “WWE Smackdown” in Buffalo, N.Y. at the First Niagara Center.

Below are the spoilers for the May 9 edition of “WWE Smackdown:”

The show began with a look at the closing to “Monday Night Raw,” featuring the match between The Shield and The Wyatt Family.

1) WWE United States Champion Sheamus def. Dean Ambrose in a title match- Dean Ambrose got his rematch, but failed to defeat Sheamus, who won cleanly with a “Brogue Kick.” Both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were not ringside for the bout. The match was well-received by the Buffalo crowd, who was behind Ambrose.

2) Cesaro and Bad News Barrett def. Rob Van Dam and Big E- Paul Heyman was on commentary for the match. The crowd was behind RVD, but there were also chants for Barrett. Cesaro got the win for his team by hitting Big E with his “Neutralizer” finishing maneuver. This match was relatively quick, lasting less than five minutes.

Daniel Bryan vs. Kane from “Extreme Rules” is recapped.

3) Rusev def. Kofi Kingston- Before the match, Lana came out, telling the crowd to support Vladimir Putin. Rusev easily picked up the win, as “USA” chants came from the crowd.

Next, The Wyatt Family appeared on the big-screen. Bray Wyatt took the time to cut a promo on John Cena.

Another vignette for Bo Dallas aired.

4) Fandango and Layla def. Emma and Santino Marella- Layla got the win for her team with a roll-up pin on Emma.

5) Roman Reigns def. Mark Henry- Reigns picked up the win with a spear.

6) Los Matadores and El Torito def. Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, and Hornswoggle- El Torito got the win for his team by pinning Slater.

7) Batista def. Seth Rollins via count out- During the match, the crowd chanted, “you can’t wrestle” towards Batista. Early on in the match, there was a lot of great back-and-forth action, yet “CM Punk” chants started. Rollins gained momentum and at one point, avoided a “Batista Bomb.” Soon after, launching over the top-rope, Rollins hit Batista, located outside the ring, with a dive. After attempting a second time, Batista countered, having Rollins hit the announce table. Rollins was down and out, not able to get back to the ring before the 10-count. On the other hand, Batista was able to get back to the ring, winning the match via count out. After the match, Batista hits Rollins with a “Batista Bomb.”

8) The Wyatt Family def. John Cena and The Usos– The match ended in chaos, as everyone brawled outside the ring. Eventually, Harper would get back in the ring, receiving the victory by pinning an Uso. After the match, Cena cut a promo on Bray Wyatt, calling him out for not getting heavily involved in the match.
