In March, there were multiple reports that John Cena would be in the upcoming comedy film “Trainwreck.” The movie is directed by the highly-acclaimed Judd Apatow, whose notable works include “Step Brothers,” “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” among many other legendary comedy features.
A recent report by The Hollywood Reporter has revealed some more celebrities who are expected to be featured in the film in some capacity. Joining Cena, who is without a doubt WWE’s most popular wrestler, will be none other than Lebron James, arguably the face of the NBA. Additionally, the website notes that many other celebrities are set to star in the film, including rapper Method Man, former “Saturday Night Live” star Bill Hader, Amy Schumer, who once dated WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler, Vanessa Bayer, and many others.
As of this writing, not much else is known regarding the film. For now, the plot of the screenplay, written by Schumer, is being kept under wraps. One thing that is now known is that “Trainwreck” is set to be released on July 24, 2015.
Editor’s Note
I definitely think I’ll be going to see “Trainwreck” upon its release. Any Judd Apatow film is usually worth the price of admission. Starring John Cena and Lebron James, the film is also a must-see for any sports fan.
