As we previously reported, it is expected that Brock Lesnar will not wrestle until WrestleMania XXX. Although Lesnar appeared on the Jan. 27 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” he is not advertised for any episodes of the program leading up to the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Even though Lesnar is from Alexandria, Minn., which is relatively close to Minneapolis, the home of the Elimination Chamber event for 2014, Lesnar is not advertised for the show. However, with recent reports of a member of the six-man Elimination Chamber match being taken out, there has been some speculation that it would be Lesnar to take out the member of the match and enter himself into the match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The next advertised appearance for the “Beast Incarnate” is the Feb. 24 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” which coincides with the launch of WWE Network. As he builds up his WrestleMania XXX matchup, there are only two editions of “Monday Night Raw” in which he is not advertised for. These two “Monday Night Raw” episodes occur consecutively on March 10 and March 17, which means Lesnar may very well miss two consecutive weeks of WWE programming.
On the Jan. 27 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Lesnar made his presence felt by giving The Authority a difficult choice. His advocate Paul Heyman stated that The Authority had to give Lesnar either a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Randy Orton or a match with Royal Rumble winner Batista. After The Authority denied those demands, Lesnar took out former WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust during their rematch against The New Age Outlaws for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
