On Friday, December 13, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter to give props to John Cena for his handling of the final segment on the December 9 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”

“The Hardcore Legend” tweeted the following on Friday:

“I’ll get flack for this, but @JohnCena cuts some damn good promos. His rescue of #RAW’s final segment was a work of art. #DugOutOfaDeepHole.”

During the closing segment of the program, Cena reportedly went on the fly to bring Daniel Bryan in on the promo that he was cutting on Randy Orton. Before his promo, the Seattle crowd was raucous in its support for Daniel Bryan by chanting his name throughout Triple H’s promo, which left the WWE COO having no choice but to let the fans continue as he spoke.
