WWE recently taped its yearly “Tribute to the Troops” show, which will air on NBC on December 28. According to live reports from DailyWrestlingNews.com, it was noted that John Cena did not have his World Heavyweight Championship or the WWE Championship with him when he appeared to give a speech to the soldiers in Fort Lewis.

On the other hand, Cena’s opponent, Randy Orton did not make an appearance. The air date of December 28 is just short of two weeks after the TLC pay-per-view. While many have thought the finish for the main event of TLC will likely lead to no Unified Champion being crowned, the live report could mean a number of possibilities for the match, if Cena will not have either title after the pay-per-view.
