Former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor will go one on one with Bray Wyatt at this Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view in Los Angeles, California. It’ll likely be the final match between the two.

On Saturday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about what could be next for both Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor after this Sunday’s show, although he’s still not sure who will end up getting the win in LA.

“Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt: it should be the blow off, so Finn should win. It depends on where they’re going… If Bray Wyatt is being groomed for [John] Cena then he should win. If Finn Balor is being groomed for [Brock] Lesnar, which at one point was the plan, then he should win.”

Balor vs. Lesnar was originally planned for SummerSlam, but plans changed after Braun Strowman got hurt. Of course, if/when Balor does have a match with Lesnar, he’ll likely end up losing, as the current plan for WrestleMania is still Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.
