Here's Who Kurt Angle Could Wrestle In His WWE Return Match

Everybody’s happy that Kurt Angle is a weekly character on WWE television, as he was named the general manager of Monday Night Raw last week. However, while being Angle being a weekly character is fantastic, we’re all still waiting for him to make his long-awaited return to action.

As for who Angle will compete against in his first match back, well, there are a few options if you look at the Raw roster: Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns. But, there’s someone out there that, perhaps, no one is thinking about as a possible opponent for the new Raw GM.

On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if The Miz would be a good opponent for Angle in his first match back with WWE.

“Yeah, I see [Angle vs. The Miz] as a possibility. It’s the right kind of opponent. Miz can talk really good. People wanna see [Angle] kick his a**. For whatever reason, with the dynamic of Kurt and Stephanie [McMahon], I can see Kurt [wrestling] Triple H in his first match. But if it’s not, I could see Miz.”
