The “Sister Abigail” character is a tricky concept to get right. The way the story goes from the mouth of Bray Wyatt is she was his great teacher, she was older, and the belief is that she died. Reincarnating the character is a huge risk to Bray’s on-screen persona.
A huge part of Bray Wyatt’s character is the mystery, mystique, and creepy attributes of his personality and persona. If WWE were to bring “Sister Abigail” on WWE television and make her a real person, it could easily backfire and destroy the entire character.
However, it would only take the right performer to get the character of “Sister Abigail” right. No one else could make the Bray Wyatt character work the same way, so it’s all about finding the right person to play the role, which WWE may very well have done.
According to a report from Sportskeeda.com, independent wrestler “Crazy” Mary Dobson has officially signed with WWE and reported to the WWE Performance Center.
Dobson’s in-ring style is aggressive. She has the right look and personality to become a member of The Wyatt Family, but the jury is still out if she could be “Sister Abigail.”
Do you think making “Sister Abigail” a character on WWE television is a good idea?
