On Sunday night, Dean Ambrose not only won the “Money in the Bank” Ladder match, but he cashed in the contract to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion as “Money in the Bank” concluded.

It was an amazing moment and the realizing of a dream for Ambrose. A lot of people assumed he’d cash in at “Summerslam” or use it for a heel turn, but Ambrose and WWE officials didn’t want to wait.

There is still some debate about when and why WWE officials decided to put the WWE Championship on Dean Ambrose rather than on Seth Rollins’ shoulder, or keep the title on Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns’ suspension has a lot of people thinking that the title change only occurred because of Reigns’ failed drug test. At a certain point, it doesn’t matter why the title on Ambrose, but people still want to know when.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, the decision was made to give Ambrose the WWE title very late in their plans and could have been during the “Money in the Bank” show.

Apparently, Roman Reigns failing his drug test didn’t necessarily force the title change because WWE officials have known about a failed drug test before and waited weeks or even months to announce it.

How long do you think Dean Ambrose will remain the WWE Champion?
