Another edition of Monday Night Raw has come and gone. Last night from Denver, Colorado, WWE put on an edition of Raw that will be remembered for a long time.
It wasn’t necessarily the most memorable Raw of all time as far as ninety percent of the show was concerned, but it will live in infamy because of the historic and surprisingly emotion return of Bill Goldberg to WWE television after a twelve year absence.
As Goldberg shook the foundation of WWE, the rest of the company moved another big show closer to “Hell in a Cell” on October 30th. While the WWE Universe will continue to talk about Goldberg, a lot more happened after the show went off the air.
There were two matches for the Denver crowd after they had seen history with “Da Man.” The first match was between the current United States Champion and Rusev. It didn’t seem to be anything too crazy, and Reigns got the win over Rusev with a Spear.
However, the second match Kevin Owens faced Seth Rollins in a twenty minute match that was described as very good. The ending saw Chris Jericho interference and caused the DQ win for Rollins. Afterward, Rollins hit Owens with a Pedigree to end the night.
What did you think of Goldberg’s return to WWE?
