The Undertaker has actually wrestled more in 2018 than he has in years. After watching him in the ring this year, it’s very clear his hip surgery had a tremendous impact on his overall health. Now, he’s been confirmed for major WWE live events at Madison Square Garden, Australia in October, and he’s being rumored for a huge match at Summerslam.
According to WrestleVotes, The Undertaker has been presented with a storyline and a match for the biggest party of the summer. It’s unclear if he’s accepted the match, but it seems obvious that he’ll be wrestling at Summerslam. There will be a lot of speculation regarding his opponent and storyline for the event, but most fans already have an idea.

It was a great moment for WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. However, a lot of fans were unsatisfied with the squash match that John Cena vs. The Undertaker became. Rumors about the two WWE legends having a rematch in Brooklyn sounds like a great idea, but that hasn’t been confirmed so it’s time to let the speculation begin about his opponent.
On paper, there are several WWE Superstars who could do it. Braun Strowman remains a possibility, but that’s not a match he would lose. Finn Balor could create an awesome atmosphere against The Deadman and bring back The Demon. Logically, someone like Kevin Owens makes sense because he’s a top heel and could definitely take a huge loss.
WWE officials are unlikely to reveal his storyline and bout until after Extreme Rules at the earliest. That means the WWE Universe has a few weeks to speculate and have fun trying to figure out who The Undertaker will face at the biggest party of the summer.
In your opinion, who should The Phenom wrestle at Summerslam this year?
