There are some memories there. Last year at WrestleMania 33, the Hardy Boyz made their long awaited return to WWE, winning the Raw Tag Team Titles in a ladder match. On their way to the ring, Michael Cole said that things were about to be broken, referencing the Broken characters developed in Impact Wrestling. The gimmick has since moved with them to WWE, albeit underneath the name Woken instead of Broken. It debuted in Impact Wrestling though, meaning they should look back at some of their history.

Impact Wrestling has posted a new Top Five video, looking at the Five Most WONDERFUL Broken Hardys Moments. This includes a variety of matches from the Hardy Compound in Cameron, North Carolina, along with matches that took place in the Impact Zone. The characters originated with the Matt and Jeff Hardy originally battling each other but they eventually reunited to become Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions.

Opinion: I know it felt like a mess when it started and to be fair, it was kind of a mess throughout the history. Things have calmed down a bit in WWE, but I’ll give the Hardys a lot of credit for turning what came off like a big joke at first into something that has recharged their careers. It’s even gotten them back to WWE, which seemed like little more than a pipe dream at various times during their careers. Well done Hardys, and smart move by Impact Wrestling for capitalizing on it.
