It’s been a very consistent criticism by many WWE fans that The Big Show is over the hill in the wrestling business, and he needed to retire a long time ago.

The argument is that he’s no longer valuable to the WWE product because his character is non-existent, he’s slow in the ring, and a win over him isn’t meaningful anymore. It’s become a constant in the relationship between Big Show and the fans. It was only a matter of time before he fully answered his critics.

Immediately after Monday Night Raw, The Big Show appeared on the latest edition of the “Stone Cold Podcast” to discuss his career and anything else under the sun with everyone’s favorite Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin.

During the podcast, Stone Cold addressed the criticism for Big Show to retire and “The World’s Largest Athlete” laughed it off and said the following:

Like it or not, The Big Show is a twenty-year veteran. There have been a massive amount of monster heels that have come and gone in WWE during that time and they’ve all made their name of Big Show at one point or another.

His size and experience make him valuable to the product despite his age and other issues inside the ring. Maybe it is time for Big Show to hang up his boots, but he’s earned the right to go out when he wants to do so.

Do you think it’s time for The Big Show to hang up the boots?
