Last night on SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler failed to capitalize on another opportunity to win the Intercontinental Championship from The Miz.

Their feud has gotten to a point where Ziggler has had his opportunities and “No Mercy” will be the last chance of a lifetime kind of situation if we’re going to see Miz vs. Ziggler one more time.

Since the brand extension, Dolph Ziggler has been much better utilized than he was floating around the midcard. However, his current booking suggests WWE knows how good he is, but he’s not a top hand.

The feud with Dean Ambrose was extremely good for him, but that boost in momentum hasn’t translated into a bigger push because he needs a big win to match. Unfortunately, he’s only been in title matches.

Dolph has been feuding with Ambrose and Miz, so he’s been putting over two of SmackDown’s best and both men are red hot right now. Ziggler needs a feud where he can get a few big wins. The bigger issue with that is it will only catapult him into more title matches, but he may have a chance of winning next time.
