Last night during this week’s edition of SmackDown, Chad Gable, and Jason Jordan returned and got a chance for some revenge against The Usos.

The match was about a lot more than that; it was a No.1 Contender match for Heath Slater and Rhyno’s SmackDown Tag Team Championship at “No Mercy.”

Ultimately, Gable is medically cleared. That doesn’t mean his leg is completely healed. The Usos took advantage of that, which eventually gave them the win over American Alpha.

At “No Mercy” in less than three weeks, Heath Slater and Rhyno will have their first title defense against The Usos. That’s a match either team could win, but it comes down to how much longer Slater and Rhyno have.

Their chemistry is strange, and the angle is not built to be maintained for several months. However, they may be able to hold off The Usos from becoming SmackDown Tag Team Champions for a little while longer.

The current plans seem to call for a title change, which will bring American Alpha back into the fold. It will become clearer as Jimmy and Jey Uso get more comfortable in their heel roles what WWE has planned.

Do you think The Usos should win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at “No Mercy?”
