Backstage News On The Miz Moving to Raw Or Staying On SmackDown

The Miz has had possibly the best run of his career in 2016. A lot of people are going to look towards his WWE Championship run in 2011, but he’s a much stronger performer now than he was back then.

He’s held the Intercontinental Championship since taking it off Zack Ryder the night after Wrestlemania 32, but his rising momentum got an even bigger boost when the backstage feud with Daniel Bryan began.

Their tension began with a heated discussion on “Talking Smack,” but Miz’s success with the IC title and continuing his trash talk to SmackDown’s General Manager has led to even more tension with Bryan.

Originally, it was just meant to get Miz more heel heat with the fans, but now he’s been having “contract negotiations” with Daniel Bryan that have gone sour and have people wondering if Miz is headed to Raw.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, the storyline between Bryan and Miz will continue to build SmackDown. Miz “teasing” going to Raw is nothing more than talk. He’ll be staying on SmackDown.

Based on the run The Miz has had with the Intercontinental Championship, it’s not out of the question that he’ll bounce back into SmackDown’s world title picture whenever he loses the IC title.
