Back in November, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins went down with a significant knee injury after attempting a sunset flip on Kane at a WWE live event in Dublin.

He was forced to vacate the championship. He immediately underwent knee surgery, and he’s begun his rehab. To date, it’s gone very well, and he’s said to be ahead of schedule.

The original projections for Seth Rollins’ return to the ring were six to nine months. Since the injury occurred in November, that puts his timetable from late May to July at some point. It’s likely that is his recovery takes longer, WWE may even hold off his return until Summerslam.

According to Inquisitir.com, Rollins’ recovery is progressing well enough to consider the possibility of him returning as early as Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas this April.

No one is saying this will become a reality, but it’s enough to consider the possibility. The issue is WWE could probably force him to return that early, but the risk of him reinjuring his knee due to being rushed back is just too high.

However, Rollins’ appearing shortly after Wrestlemania and appearing as early as the post-Mania Monday Night Raw is a strong possibility. Rollins could always appear on WWE TV and not wrestle for awhile until he’s one-hundred percent ready.
