Rumor: UFC’s Paige VanZant Will Appear For WWE at “Summerslam”

Ever since it was officially announced that Brock Lesnar would be fighting Mark Hunt at UFC 200, the sports entertainment world is on eggshells waiting for the next big news story on the situation to drop.

A lot of people immediately assumed that WWE would be “trading” an appearance from Brock Lesnar for an appearance by a UFC fighter for “Summerslam.” Turns out, that may be true after all.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, a ton of people assumed that Ronda Rousey would finally get into the squared circle in WWE, but that hasn’t been confirmed as of this writing.

Instead, WWE has been talking about Paige VanZant making an appearance at “Summerslam” and have even taken it as far as calling her people to see if she’s available.

The rumors segment would feature her in a segment with WWE’s women, and would most likely feature Dana Brooke and the current WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte,

As of this writing, this is only a rumor. We know there has been some communication between VanZant’s people and WWE officials, so we need to wait to see if anything else comes out of it.
