Rumor Mill: Shawn Michaels To Be Special Guest Referee For Wrestlemania 32 Main Event

Recently, WWE Rumors have been circling Shawn Michaels because Vince McMahon has made it clear that he really wants HBK to be involved in Wrestlemania 32 in some way, shape, or form.

The event is in Dallas, Texas, which isn’t going to be nearly as tough a journey from his native San Antonio as others he has done for Wrestlemania appearances.

While it was reported that Vince is attempting to get him to wrestle, he may settle for another role HBK is infamous for performing.

According to Inquisitir.com, there is a potential plan for Shawn Michaels to be the special guest referee for the main event of Wrestlemania, which is expected to be Roman Reigns vs. Triple H. There is also a lot of potential for The Rock to be involved in the match as well.

On paper, The Heartbreak Kid being involved in anything Wrestlemania is magic. If you add The Rock too, it becomes a dream Wrestlemania scenario. WWE is trying to fill the main event with as much hype and talent as possible.

This idea could work because of Shawn Michaels’ history as a special guest referee in big match situations and because of his ties to Triple H and the McMahon family.

On paper, Roman Reigns overcoming Triple H, his family, and his best friend with the help of The Rock is a great story and makes for a big Wrestlemania moment.
