Marty Jannetty Attacks Stephanie McMahon on Social Media

It’s become a very well known comparison in the wrestling world to compare a tag team that there was a weak link and a stronger performer that carries the load. Otherwise known as being the Shawn Michaels of the group, or the Marty Jannetty.

It’s not really Jannett’s fault that he was in a tag team with The Heartbreak Kid, who is referenced by many as the greatest in ring performer of all time, but the saying has stuck with wrestling fans, and that makes it very difficult to stop it.

On this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon was insulting Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose backstage and made a comparison of them to as being the Jannetty of The Shield.

The actual Marty Jannetty took offense to that and posted the following quote on Facebook that has since been deleted:

“Did that bitch just say what I think I just hurrd on RAW??? Steph…should I remind the world.all them kids might not be Hunter’s. ??”

It’s understandable that he would be upset that his name has become synonymous with being the weaker member of a tag team, but the attack on Stephanie and the accusations of her infidelity is a little below the line for a comment on Raw when she is just trying to get heel heat.
