There were a lot of reports about Sasha Banks’ injury status after “Summerslam.” The gist was The Boss had some nagging injuries that forced her to take a few weeks off and drop the WWE Women’s title to Charlotte.
Luckily, she didn’t require surgery, so WWE is just giving her a few weeks to heal up. She returned to Raw on Monday and gave what appeared to be a sullen promo until Dana Brooke interrupted. Banks locked in The Bank Statement, and declared that she is coming for Charlotte and her title at “Clash of Champions.”
It was a brief hiatus for The Boss, but she has returned to reclaim the WWE Women’s Championship from Charlotte. The only problem is her promo on Raw may have given her some backstage heat.
According to a report from WrestlingInc.com, there are many WWE talents that were upset with the promo teasing a retirement, or at least an announcement that she needed more time away from the ring.
Apparently, many within WWE feel that kind of promo is a sensitive thing and using it for an angle isn’t a cool thing to do because its disrespectful to wrestlers that have said farewell in the past.
Do you think Sasha Banks promo was disrespectful?
