Rumor: WWE Wants Ronda Rousey to Join ‘Total Divas’ Cast

At this point, WWE officials have invested an incredible amount into Ronda Rousey. She has been given the Raw Women’s Championship and been showcased over Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, and others. Heading into Evolution, she’s deadlocked in a personal rivalry with The Bella Twins. As it turns out, Rousey might be spending more time with the Bellas.

According to a recent report from Rajah that WWE officials are strongly considering for Ronda Rousey to join the cast of Total Divas for next season. The idea seems to be only a possibility for the powers that be and she hasn’t been approached with the idea yet. It’s not clear if Ronda would be interested in the role, but WWE will ask her sooner or later.

The ratings for Total Divas have been declining for quite some time now. The show has its audience, but it’s not reaching a mainstream level. With Ronda Rousey as a part of the cast, that would be a huge boost for the show and more exposure for WWE. There would also be an opportunity for the WWE Universe to see another side of Rousey.

Of course, some of the storylines on Total Divas are extremely cheesy and there’s only so much reality in reality television. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Ronda did not want to sacrifice her privacy. If she were to join the show, her star power would boost the entire cast and give the show new life. If things work out, she may even get her own spin-off.
