The wrestling world is still buzzing over the match AJ Styles and Roman Reigns had at “Payback” for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
There is a reason why a rematch was approved essentially on the spot by the McMahon family before the PPV went off the air. The question is just how much longer will Reigns vs. Styles last.
According to a rumor from Cagesideseats.com, the feud between the two men is expected to last up to the “Money in the Bank PPV” this June.
For the record, “Money in the Bank” will be live on June 19th this year at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
If Reigns vs. Styles is to last up to “Money in the Bank” or through the event, there is likely going to be some kind of swerve coming over the next month of WWE programming.
That may seem obvious on paper, but there are so many possibilities for storylines from the feud that it’s going to be very interesting to see what WWE chooses to do with all the talent involved.
The direction of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows is going to be a challenge, and the direction of AJ Styles on WWE television is going to be the biggest challenge of all.
Do you think AJ Styles will become the WWE Champion before “Money in the Bank?”
