It’s been over a year since AJ Lee officially retired from active competition in WWE. She retired shortly after Wrestlemania 31 and hasn’t been back since.

There doesn’t appear to be much ill will between the two parties, but that will always be questionable because of the company’s relationship with her husband and that WWE’s first mission after her retirement was to push Nikki Bella as the WE Divas Champion until she broke AJ’s record of the longest Divas title reign in history.

Just because AJ Lee hasn’t made any kind of appearance for WWE in the last year doesn’t mean she’s forgotten her time in the industry.

According to a recent tweet sent out by AJ, she’s very hard at work at her memoir detailing her years in the industry.

AJ posted the following yesterday claiming to be making some “edits” for her book that is set to be released in early 2017:

Being able to read and get AJ’s thoughts on her career as she rose through the ranks to become one of the most popular Divas of all time is a great story that many people can’t wait to read.

Since she has no ties to the company, she won’t hold back about backstage politics, the rise of “Total Divas” during her title run, and what she thinks of Nikki Bella breaking her record. There is a lot of interesting topics that she’ll be covering in her book come early 2017.

Are you going to read AJ Lee’s memoir?
