It was rumored before Money in the Bank that Bobby Roode would be undergoing some kind of a heel turn after the event. A lot of fans were excited about this because Roode’s booking has been lackluster since he moved to Raw. It’s been quite the disappointment that the heel turn didn’t happen and he wasn’t even on Monday Night Raw this week.

Unfortunately, it’s been reported by WrestlingNews.co that Bobby Roode is just a victim of a lack of creative plans. Some people might find that unacceptable, but it’s something the WWE Universe should get used to going forward. The truth is WWE only having one PPV each month for both brands will force some talent into lesser roles far more often.
“The Glorious One” isn’t being pushed, but it’s just difficult to find a spot for him before Extreme Rules with all that’s happening on WWE television right now. However, Roode has been working WWE house shows and other events. He isn’t just sitting on the bench waiting for an opportunity, but WWE fans should also lower their expectations for him.
Vince McMahon is said to be a big fan of Bobby Roode behind the scenes, but there is a general feeling that he’s cooled off a great deal. Also, WWE officials are unlikely to push him into the main event picture at his age unless something huge changes and the heel turn comes to fruition. There’s a feeling that Roode will retire with the company and is going to transition into a backstage role down the line. That does not seem to be coming anytime soon, but the WWE Universe shouldn’t be expecting a WWE Title run from him.
