Mainstream Reporters Are Digging to Find Dirt On Donald Trump From His Time With WWE

Donald Trump ties to the wrestling world don’t come up too often in the mainstream media, but it’s something that wrestling fans are more than aware of, especially as he continues his bid for President of the United States despite heavy criticism recently.

Regardless of your political beliefs, Trump is connected to WWE. The irony there is very interesting right now because he is a WWE Hall of Famer, but the company is doing a great deal to empower women. It’s a bizarre dynamic, to say the least.

However, all of a sudden the mainstream media is interested in Trump’s relationship with WWE because there could be something to report on that could bring more heat to his presidential campaign.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, various reporters from mainstream sources are reaching out to people within the industry and WWE to attempt to dig up some more dirt and create controversy on Donald Trump’s time in WWE.

Specifically, reporters are interested in the Wrestlemania 23 feud between Trump and Vince McMahon known as the “Battle of the Billionaires.” If they find anything, WWE would be dragged through the mud as well. That’s the last thing WWE wants right now.
