Lilian Garcia has been a staple of WWE for over a decade. She’s been announcing for WWE since 1999 and her first tenure established her as the only “Decade Diva” in the company’s history.

Garcia walked away from WWE back in 2009 to pursue other interests, but she returned in 2011 and has been giving us her familiar voice ever since. However, experienced she may be announcing for WWE, she’s human and will make a mistake. Recently, she had one that has gotten her into some hot water.

According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, there was a miscommunication during last week’s Monday Night Raw taping from London.

Since Enzo Amore and Big Cass have been called up from NXT, the powers that be have made it a point to stop referring to the latter as “Colin Cassady.”

During the taping, Lilian Garcia introduced Big Cass as such and that reportedly led to a shouting match at ringside afterward, which was in the full view of the fans in attendance.

Not only is that embarrassing, but it’s a little unprofessional to do that at ringside during a match. It was a mistake, WWE has always been very particular with the names of performers, and they’re right to make a point because it is the little things that matter most of the time.

But, a situation like that should be handled better by all. The heat on Garcia will likely blow over, but it’s still worth mentioning that this incident occurred.

Do you think it was fair for Lilian Garcia to get yelled at for a mistake?
