At Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas, The League of Nations defeated The New Day and starting to brag about their victory on the grandest stage of them all.

But that was before The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, The Hardcore Legend Mick Foley, and The Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin arrived for a special Wrestlemania moment.

However, Stone Cold had to suffer some consequences to give the WWE Universe that moment.

On the most recent episode of the “Stone Cold Podcast”, Austin revealed that he went into that segment with a torn rotator cuff in his shoulder.

According to Austin, he suffered the injury by training too hard, but he figured he would be able to work around it for a short segment at Wrestlemania in Dallas.

However, his first punch to Rusev “blew everything out” regarding the injury. The adrenaline got him through the rest of the angle, but once he got backstage, he couldn’t even drink a beer. That’s a clear sign that something is wrong when Stone Cold can’t drink beer.

His good friend JR recently revealed on his blog that Stone Cold will be having surgery soon, and he wrote the following:

“Steve Austin will likely be getting his torn rotator cuff attended to soon. Steve did the brief but memorable appearance at Wrestlemania Texas with the injury and his first punch to Rusev finished the complete tear. Steve outlines that experience on his recent Podcast, The Steve Austin Show on @PodcastOne.”
