Finn Balor had an unfortunate and unlucky break after winning the WWE Universal Championship at “Summerslam.” An interesting part is wondering what Raw would look like currently if Balor hadn’t been injured. The world will never know that reality.

At this point in time, the best we can do is hope that Finn’s recovery from shoulder surgery goes perfectly and he’ll be back not one day later than he needs to be. The latest report on his recovery has some good news and even offers a potential return date.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Finn is said to be recovering very well from shoulder surgery. He’s currently at the WWE Performance Center and is working with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas in Birmingham, Alabama.

Balor is optimistic about his recovery and his timetable for getting back into the ring as soon as possible, which is rumored to be around Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando. It may still be possible for him to return for the “Royal Rumble,” but that’s jumping the gun.

The biggest question surrounding his return isn’t even about when he will be medically cleared to return to the ring, but what WWE officials have planned for him.
