We’re to the point where TNA might not even have a roster.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, this weekend is a pay period for TNA, and there might not be enough money around to pay the talent. This comes on the heels of the company being unsure if they would be able to put on “Bound For Glory 2016” and the subsequent “Impact Wrestling” tapings.

Meltzer also reports that if the wrestlers can’t be paid on time, “a couple of guys” are ready to declare a breach of contract and say that they’re free agents. This doesn’t mean that they would be able to leave immediately or that they wouldn’t come back, perhaps on a pay per appearance deal.

The company has had financial issues for years now but the last few weeks have been as bad as ever with multiple lawsuits against the company over debts, as well as a tax lien from the state of Tennessee. While the company has TV taped up through at least the beginning of December, and possibly through the end of the year, there is almost no way to get around talent leaving over not being paid.

If TNA does go out of business, who would you like to see go where? Would any of them be good fits for WWE or NXT? Maybe Ring of Honor? Let us know in the comments below.
