Tomorrow night, NXT Takeover: The End will feature the brand’s first-ever steel cage match between Finn Balor and Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship.

What’s ironic is that on a night of firsts, the end is coming for Balor vs. Joe and the final match of their rivalry will take place inside steel.

According to RingSideNews.com, Triple H confirmed during the conference call for tomorrow night’s event that Balor vs. Joe will be the final match in their series.

Their rivalry should be considered the best in NXT history. It’s last for over eight months. Balor and Joe have headlined three straight Takeover specials, and it’s been the core of NXT programming for almost a year.

Apparently, Triple H also revealed during the call that the NXT roster will look very different after the brand split, and there have been several rumors about both Samoa Joe and Finn Balor coming to the main roster.

If the loser is bound for the main roster, that makes tomorrow night’s match extremely important to the future of NXT as well as the future of Raw and SmackDown going into the summer and the brand split.

Do you think Samoa Joe will win, or will Finn Balor reclaim the NXT Championship?
