At “Summerslam,” Finn Balor was injured during his WWE Universal Championship win, but he had to relinquish the title the next night on Raw.
Unfortunately, Seth Rollins has been taking a great deal of the blame for Balor’s injury since he’s set to miss six to eight months of his career thanks to Rollins’ “Turnbuckle Powerbomb.”
However, Balor hasn’t given his own opinion on the matter. His opinion does carry a fair amount of weight since it is his career and his shoulder that was injured.
Recently on The Ross Report, Finn Balor commented on the criticism against Rollins that he is “unsafe.” You can listen to the full talk right here. Below is what Finn had to say about Rollins’ safety in the ring:
“Well, people are entitled to their opinions, but as far as my opinion goes is that, I’ve been hurt a lot of times working and it was never with Seth Rollins. Obviously, if you work a lot, you get hurt occasionally and this just happened to be a coincidence that it was in there with Seth. As far as I’m concerned, Seth is one of, if not the best, performer that we have in this business. And I think all the flak he gets is totally unwarranted.” Bálor added, “any kind of flak he gets about being unsafe is completely ridiculous.”
