The “Cruiserweight Classic” has been a great deal of fun to watch over the past several weeks, but the ending is now in sight and it’s less than a week away.

Last night on CWC, the quarterfinals came to an end and the final four competitors have been determined and now it is between Kota Ibushi, Gran Metalik, Zack Sabre. Jr, and TJ Perkins to decide the winner of CWC.

On September 19th, Raw is debuting the Cruiserweight Division, so it makes sense for the CWC tournament to end the week before.

It seemed like a possibility that WWE would air the finals on Raw, but instead there will be two-hour live finale of the “Cruiserweight Classic” to end the tournament and determine the first winner of the CWC.

Next week, Gran Metalik will face Zack Sabre, Jr on one side of the bracket. On the other side, Kota Ibushi will face TJ Perkins and the winners of those two matches will meet in the finals later that night.

It’s true that the winner of the “Cruiserweight Classic” doesn’t win anything other than prestige and a really cool trophy, but the winner’s name will go down in history as the frist man to win the CWC, and that could be something very special in the coming years.

Who do you think will win the “Cruiserweight Classic” next week?
